Sunset Ride

4:30PM: The ride begins in Fort Portal leaving behind the town’s bustle as you turn onto Saaka Road. Rolling hills stretch out in every direction, the road is quiet and scenic, a perfect prelude to the adventure ahead. 5:00-6:00PM; A gentle uphill trail leads from the roadside to Lake Kigere. Lush greenery surrounds you, and birds dart across the hills. An optional hike to the top of the hill, 3 crater lakes unfolds in full view, calm, reflective, and bathed in the soft glow of the late afternoon sun.
